The ceremony is not the end of the journey. What follows, in the days and weeks after, is often where the real work begins.
We are a group of individuals who have been practising with plant medicine for a long time. We have been explorers in this field for many years, and it has become apparent that, with the explosion of interest in ceremony, there is a growing need for experienced guides to help those entering this path.
Difficulties after ceremony often have a common source, and experienced practitioners can assist people in moving through their process with understanding and care. We have a large circle of very experienced practitioners, and if we cannot help you directly, we can redirect your request to someone who can.
The Services
An initial conversation to orient yourself after ceremony. Questions answered, confusion met with care and experience. No charge, no commitment. An FAQ page covers the most common issues, with follow-up text guidance to point you in the right direction.
If text guidance is not enough, we offer a personal call service for those who need deeper one-to-one support. Ongoing sessions to help integrate what arose in ceremony into everyday life. Pricing aligned with the Monthly Patron tier.
Plant baths, hands-on healing, and energetic bodywork for those who need deeper physical and energetic support after ceremony. Available in Costa Rica.
Notes of Care
One of the most common and least discussed challenges after deep ceremony is an inflation of the sense of self. A feeling of special mission, unique insight, or elevated status can arise and feel entirely real. Experienced practitioners recognise this pattern. If you or someone close to you is experiencing this after ceremony, please reach out. It is more common than people realise, and it responds well to grounded, experienced support.
Ceremony opens doors that not everyone knows how to close. If you have attended a plant medicine ceremony and have not felt right since, disturbed, invaded, or not quite yourself, there is a possibility that what happened was not psychological. It may be spiritual.
Spiritual possession after ceremony is more common than most facilitators will admit, and it happens most often when the space is held by uninitiated facilitators. When a facilitator is properly initiated into a spiritual tradition, they carry protection. Most facilitators today are not initiated. Unfortunately, this is rarely understood until something goes wrong.
As a Sangoma, I work under the protection of my ancestors. A Sangoma is possessed by his ancestors, a directed possession that protects against any further unwanted spiritual intrusion. That protection is what makes it possible to enter these spaces safely, and to help others find their way back.
I can help you understand what happened, and what to do about it. But only if you are willing to accept help. If you are not ready, I cannot help you, and I will not try to convince you. The door is open. You choose whether to walk through it.
